WorldGBC Leadership Awards

The World Green Building Council’s European Network is proud to host the first ever leadership awards for the Europe region!

Building on the success of the global Government Leadership Awards, the European regional awards promote leadership and inspire best practices in green building policy, construction projects and corporate initiatives. GBCs across Europe now have the opportunity to nominate cities, buildings and companies that are leading the charge in sustainability.

The Call for Nominations opens on 10 June 2013 and closes on 1 August 2013.  All submissions must be made through your local Green Building Council.

Winners will be announced in an international virtual media release during World Green Building Week, 16 – 20 September 2013.  Award recipients will have the chance to create promotional videos that will be featured at GBC events across the region and broadcast worldwide. 

The awards may be regional, but the impact will be global.

Europe Region Award Categories:

Excellence in City Policy for Green Building

Leadership in Building Design and Performance

Business Leadership in Sustainability

In addition, all entries for the “Excellence in City Policy for Green Building” will be automatically entered into the WorldGBC Government Leadership Awards.
